Our story
Made in small runs, by people we know
Macara started with one printed kurta set and a long list of things we wished were different — sleeves that fit, pockets that hold a phone, dupattas light enough for June. Every style is cut in batches of forty or fewer at our unit in Hyderabad, so nothing sits in a warehouse and nothing gets rushed.
Prints are drawn in-house and printed on cotton mul, chanderi and handloom silk. If a fabric doesn't feel right against skin, it doesn't make it to the site.
